Sregnuoy
Farms is in its fourth generation of striving to provide
quality milk for its friends and neighbors. The farm was
born in 1919 when William Joseph Youngers Sr. began milking
cows on top of the hill in North Java. Later, the farm was
owned and operated by William Joseph Youngers Jr. who added
land from the opposite side of the road in 1942 where the
dairy complex sits today. In 1965, Augustine Youngers
returned from college to run the farm with his father. Brian
Youngers graduated from college in 1995 and began working on
the farm with his father. Over the years, the cow numbers
and crop acres have increased but the commitment to provide
a quality product and the “family farm feel” have remained
the same.
At the present time, Sregnuoy Farms, LLC (formed in 2001)
is a partnership owned and operated by the father/son team
of Augustine and Brian Youngers. The farm consists of 250
cows, 235 head of young stock, 550 acres of work land and a
small fleet of John Deere tractors. In addition to these
necessary basics, Sregnuoy Farms has a dog, two chickens, a
horse and a garden. The farm is known for consistent high
quality milk and a breezy hill top location.
The family ready to take this farm into the future
belongs to Brian and Amy Youngers. They have an
eight-year-old son (another William Joseph) in love with
anything that has a motor and interested in every little
detail that goes into running a farm; a six year old
daughter who loves being outdoors and helping people; and a
three year old daughter who enjoys farm life and has a great
enthusiasm for cows and calves.
Sregnuoy Farms believes in the importance of knowing
where your food comes from and being confident in its
quality. We often invite classes from the local school to
come visit and see where their milk originates. Local farms
with an investment in a small, close-knit community are the
perfect way to ensure quality and freshness. We are proud to
be part of the Upstate Niagara Cooperative, which stands
behind a line of products that guarantee quality and
freshness to our local communities and beyond!
