We're still owned and operated by a cooperative of local dairy farmers. Upstate Niagara represents families who are dedicated to producing the freshest milk possible. Lots of things have changed over the years, however our commitment to quality will always remain the same.

Quality, freshness, and sustainable farming have been the hallmarks of our cooperative for several decades. Our farmers pledge that all milk sold under the cooperative’s Upstate Farms label comes from cows not treated with artificial growth hormones (rbST/rbGH). To make this promise, all our member-owners have signed letters of guarantee to certify that their milk is exclusively from cows to which synthetic growth hormones have not been administered.

While according to the FDA, there is no significant difference between milk from cows treated with rBST and milk from untreated cows; our cooperative is committed to
producing wholesome dairy products that meet or exceed our consumers’ expectations.
